Upon receiving his certification, he transitioned into the supply chain industry with various telephone business companies, including GTE, Verizon and Frontier Communications. Engaged from 2010 to 2020 with Coca-Cola as a Supply Planner II, he served the prominent corporation in product deployment and purchasing. In 2013, Mr. Edwards, his wife, Laine Schroeder Edwards, and Josh Spar of California founded Permit Pros LLC, and since that time, Mr. Edwards has served as chief financial officer. Later, he took on the additional role of vice president in 2016, and also became vice president of Ninth Street Bridge Development, Inc., in 2018. His wife currently serves Permit Pros as president and chief executive officer. Drawing upon a Bachelor of Science in technical communications and business administration from the University of Wisconsin at Platteville from 1977, Mr. Edwards maintains a lifetime certification from the Institute for Supply Management. Attributing his success to hard work and tenacity, Mr. Edwards has experienced several career highlights over the years. Most notably, he is especially proud of achieving a variety of positions within the realm of business, demonstrating versatility in his field. He is most acclaimed for streamlining business plans and operations, in which he leverages his abilities to isolate complicated matters and simplify them in such a way that it is recognizable to everyone. Mr. Edwards received 13 Certificates of Merit from the Printing Industries of America (PIA) Premier Print Awards annual competition. In 2017, he was awarded a Lifetime CPMdesignation.
