Lending his expertise to academia as well, Dr. Lish is a past clinical assistant professor at the New York University College of Dentistry. Earlier in his career, he excelled as a residency director for the General Practice Program at Brookdale University Hospital Center in Brooklyn, where he still maintains privileges. After graduating from the BA-DDS seven-year Dental program at New York University, Dr. Lish completed a two-year residency at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in 1996 and was certified in dental and oral surgery. When asked about the current coronavirus crisis, he notes that dental professionals have always been at the forefront of infection control within the realm of health care, as their industry lends itself to constant control of cross-contamination in practice for patient safety. Civically involved as well, Dr. Lish sits on the board of directors of Areyvut and has been the founder and director of the Dr. Molar Magic Foundation since 2005. Additionally, he has flourished as a performer and community service provider for a Clown Doctor Program since 1994. The creator of the educational dental themed magic program, “The Dr. Molar Magic Show” since 1993, he has also written and performed in several off-Broadway productions, including the Circus Bicuspid series of “Almost on Broadway,” “Back for Seconds” and “Sunday in the Park with Clowns.” To remain abreast of developments in an everchanging field, Dr. Lish maintains affiliation with the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Academy of Implant Dentistry. I nspired to enter the field of dentistry by his father, who was also a dentist, Dr. Bruce J.
