Barron, Esq., is a third generation real estate service professional with family ties in the industry dating back to 1948. Since 1977, he has excelled as vice president and broker of Lindsey’s Inc. Realtors in Newnan, Georgia, where he specializes in residential, land, commercial, and industrial and retail real estate. Currently, he operates Lindsey’s Inc. Realtors with his brother, Frank H. Barron Sr.; son, Thomas Willis Jr.; and nephew, Frank H. Barron Jr. Concurrent to this role, Mr. Barron has also been the president of Coweta Developers, Inc., since 1977. Prior to spearheading his real estate firms, Mr. Barron earned a BA from Emory University in 1971 and attained a JD from Mercer University in 1974. Previously, he served as an associate with Sanders, Mottola, Haugen, Wood, Goodson & Odom from 1974 to 1977 before entering his present businesses. Mr. Barron has contributed time to civic endeavors, particularly as president of the Newnan-Coweta chapter of the UnitedWay in 1982 and as president of the Newnan-Coweta chapter of the American Red Cross in 1980. He is a past chairman of deacons of his local Baptist church, for whom he served four terms. He is a former trustee of Mercer University and the Coweta Community Foundation, as well as former chairman of the board, director and secretary-treasurer of Newnan Hospital. He is a past board chairman of the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce. Maintaining affiliation with the NewnanCoweta Board of Realtors, for whom he served as past president, Mr. Barron has received many accolades. Named 1991 Realtor of the Year, he was also bestowed with the Phoenix Award in 1999, Crystal Phoenix Award in 2011, Silver Phoenix Award in 2013 and 2014, and Golden Phoenix Award in 2019. Recently, he was inducted into the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors’ Hall of Fame in 2020. Mr. Barron was president of the Newnan Kiwanis Club, who honored him with the Kiwanis of the Year Award in 2018.
