240 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine LAW AND LAW ENFORCEMENT Alongside his primary endeavors, Mr. Grant served as an adjunct professor of labor law at The Ohio State University between 1975 and 1977 and sat as secretary of the board of trustees of Muskingum University from 1972 to 2019. Notably, he has contributed articles to industry publications pertaining to disability and to independent contractor status and maintains affiliation with the Labor Section of the Ohio Bar Association and as a member of the American Bar Association. He is also a past president of the Lake Hill Club in Delaware, Ohio. Mr. Grant has been continuously recognized by his peers in Best Lawyers of America since 1987, as well as in Best Lawyers in Central Ohio, Ohio’s Top Attorneys and Top Attorneys in Ohio. In light of his efforts with the League of Ohio Sportsmen, he was honored as Ohio Hunter Education Instructor of the Year in 2018. Muskingum University bestowed upon him an honorary DHL in 2016. W ishing to enter a rewarding and honorable profession, Dennis Duane Grant decided to pursue a legal career in an effort to give back to others. Matriculating in Muskingum University, he graduated cum laude with a BA in 1962. In 1965, he attained a JD from the University of Michigan, and was subsequently admitted to practice law in Ohio. At the inception of his career in 1965, Mr. Grant served as an associate of Bricker & Eckler in Columbus, Ohio, holding the role for five years. Subsequently, he was escalated to the rank of partner in 1970, and thus departed from the firm in 1985. From 1985 to 2005, Mr. Grant served as a partner of Arter & Hadden in Columbus, and from 2005 to 2018, he was a member of Bailey Cavalieri LLC. Since departing from that post, he has excelled as the sole proprietor of the Dennis Grant Law Offices. Additionally, Mr. Grant has been admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, and the Eastern District of Michigan.
