A ttracted to the field of computer science due to his affinity for analyzing problems and breaking issues down to their root causes, George Wilson Freas II is a distinguished computer scientist, engineer, inventor and consultant who has accrued 40 years of experience in his profession. He pursued a formal education at Western Kentucky University, from whom he earned a BS in computer science with an emphasis on systems analysis in 1979. After accruing several years in his field, he returned to his academic endeavors at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, receiving an MS in computer science with an emphasis on artificial intelligence in 1994. Actively involved with the International Space Station Payload Support Software Group at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville since 1999, and was a longstanding employee of The Boeing Company, from whom he departed in 2020, Mr. Freas is also the noted manager and owner of Freas Consulting, LLC, originally formed in 1991.
