DAVIS A fter serving as a registered nurse for 12 years between 2008 and 2020, Leslie B. Davis decided to leverage her entrepreneurial mindset and establish her own business. An employee of BabyQuip in Prattville, Alabama, she is distinguished for renting such baby equipment as cribs and car seats to traveling families in order to make their bustling lives easier. Noting that she most enjoys meeting her clients, Ms. Davis has a familial heritage in caring for others. Earlier in her career, Ms. Davis excelled in secretarial work. However, the idea of becoming a nurse was always tucked within the back of her mind. Drawing upon a prior associate degree in accounting, she also obtained a BS in religion from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama. She attributes her profound success to her self-motivation and drive to do better each day. In her spare time, Ms. Davis contributes to the board of directors of the Samaritan Counseling Center and Etowah County. Additionally, she has served as president of the Clergy Spouse Organization. Looking ahead, she intends to expand her business and take on more travel opportunities. B orn with an innate ability to feel and perceive the world on a spiritual level, Dr. Laverne E. Denyer developed her talents and leveraged her gifts to help others grow and heal. She draws upon a BA in psychology and religious studies with a minor in philosophy from the University of California Berkeley, MA degrees in education and educational leadership from California State University and a PhD in religious studies from the University of Metaphysics. Since 1970, Dr. Denyer has served as the owner, Master Intuitive Counselor and holistic practitioner with her own eponymously-named business. She holds several certifications and teaching credentials in holistic health, psychology, education and administration. Notably, Dr. Denyer was the Executive Secretary and Executive Com- mittee member for the United States Psychotronics Association for 28 years and is a current State Senate member for the New California State Movement. Alongside her primary endeavors, she has authored various reference materials between 1981 and 2020, as well as articles in domestic and international journals, newsletters and poetry in an- thologies.
