Bergman, Esq., merged the firm with Withers to create Withers Bergman LLP in 2002. Serving as Partner in the private client and tax team since that time, he currently works out of their office in New Haven, Connecticut, as well as several of their other offices. With 17 offices across the globe, including Europe, Asia and Australia, Withers Bergman notably went from having two employees to 500 lawyers and 700 employees over the course of its existence. Drawing upon a BA, cum laude, from Dartmouth College and a JD from the University of Michigan Law School, Mr. Bergman also holds an MBA from Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut in 1959, he has honorably demonstrated versatility in his practice with his certification as a public accountant early from his career. He also became a registered foreign lawyer in the United Kingdom in 2002.
