In comparison to Europe, Mr. Raczkowski feels that the United States has a long way to go in terms of becoming an eco-friendly nation. He believes it is imperative to make use of alternative materials and products, such as recycled paper instead of plastic, to combat climate change. He pleads, “There is only one Mother Earth, and if we do not do anything about being eco-friendly, there will be no Earth.” In five years’ time, Mr. Raczkowski envisions his company expanding in size and adding multiple locations in California and the country. He also hopes to take on more design projects in the coming years. G rowing up in Europe, Daniel T. Raczkowski was always interested in interior design and conservation of the environment. Upon his exposure to the environmental issues all humans face, he desired to spearhead a career dedicated to an eco-friendly approach. In 2018, he graduated from the Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach, California. Taking on various feats, Mr. Raczkowski has served as the owner of The Mermaid Store in Laguna Beach, California, since 2017. An eco- friendly boutique, The Mermaid Store uses “mermaid magic” to bring awareness to the problems in the ocean by sourcing products from local designers and vendors. In addition, Mr. Raczkowski has served as the founder of L3 Truc Interiors since 2014. He has also been a consultant to C.J. Sergerstrom since 2011.
