From 2000 to 2005, she flourished as a senior financial analyst for Charter Professional Services Corp., in which she worked within the health care finance industry. Since 2005, Ms. Vaillancourt has been affiliated with Shaw’s and Star Market, an Albertson’s Companies grocery store chain based in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts. First serving the grocery chain as a senior financial analyst for eight years, she escalated to the rank of director of finance in 2013 – a position she holds today. Shaw’s and Star Market has approximately 150 locations across New England and is renowned for their forward-thinking in contributing to the betterment of their local communities. Ms. Vaillancourt attributes her success to hard work, dedication and her ability to take on new opportunities as they arise. She has been recognized significantly for her work as she was named a Progressive Grocer’s Top Women in Grocery – Rising Star in 2016. Honored as a Woman of Influence in the Food Industry in 2015, she was also named Executive Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women in 2014. While her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Vaillancourt is especially proud of taking on her most recent role of director of finance, which became available when Shaw’s and Star Market was acquired by Albertson’s. Noting that the position opened doors for her professionally, she also emphasizes that her involvement in the grocery store chain has allowed her further opportunities to aid her community. Ms. Vaillancourt has been happily married to her husband, Keith, for 15 years and together, they share two children, Zoe and Zack. I nterested in science and mathematics from a formative age, Jennifer L. Vaillancourt discovered her affinity for finance upon completing an internship with a national bank. Upon exposure to the business sector of various industries, she leveraged her analytical mind in college, graduating from Boston College with a BS in finance in 1996. JENNIFER L.
