292 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SOCIAL SERVICES AND NONPROFIT A native of Liberia in West Africa, Daniel Martol experienced the country’s civil war and sought to aid others who were afflicted with the war’s devastation. Assisting families, helping with food distribution and counseling others, he notably served with the Red Cross in refugee camps while in Liberia. Shortly thereafter, he discovered his passion for serving others and immigrated to the United States. Drawing upon a bachelor’s degree from the College of New Rochelle and a master’s degree from Long Island University, he has since accrued more than 15 years of experience in social work and ministry. Since 2006, Mr. Martol has excelled as a minister for the Living Word Ministry in Des Moines, Iowa, a component of the Mount Zion International Ministry. With four additional branches in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia, Living Word Ministry has flourished as an institution of peace, hope and prosperity among its congregants. Alongside this pursuit, Mr. Martol has also served as a school counselor for Mount Zion, Inc., since 2010. A certified school counselor in the state of New York and an ordained minister, Mr. Martol also dedicates his time to nonprofit organizations, volunteers with food distribution centers and provides gifts to underserved children in his community through the Liberian Community Association. Equipped with his recent successes, he travels to Liberia twice each year to help others and bring clothing to poverty-stricken areas. Mr. Martol attributes his success to his desire to witness other individuals succeed, emphasizing that his success comes from the success of others. To attest to his legacy, he has received myriad certificates from the country of Liberia in recognition of his aid, as well as earned the honor of Employee of the Month. Looking toward the future, Mr. Martol intends to experience the continued growth of his career while also serving others in his local community.
