352 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine TECHNOLOGY Just Ask Hal Computer Repair, a computer repair and refurbishing company in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has been owned and operated by Hal Prickett for several years. Supported by over 30 years of preeminent experience in computer science and entrepreneurship, Mr. Prickett has worked with computers for the majority of his career, including two years at The White House during the George W. Bush administration in the early-to-late 2000s. During his time at The White House, Mr. Prickett scanned the president’s public emails in an effort to find potential threats that may harm the President and other government officers. After this formative experience, Mr. Prickett found the courage and drive to start his own business. Upon the development of the very first computers, Mr. Prickett immediately became interested in the computer sciences, and purchased his first computer prior to graduating from high school. After his high school graduation, he obtained a summer job at a premier computer company, where he learned computer programming. Subsequently, Mr. Prickett matriculated at the University of South Carolina, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in computer science in 1985. Shortly thereafter, he worked for several engineering companies, including the Intel Corporation, and worked on projects that brought him across the country and overseas to a myriad of countries. Mr. Prickett is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He credits much of his success to his passion for his work and his innate aptitude for computer repair and maintenance. Drawing upon his 30-plus years of experience in the fields of computer science and technology, he has applied his extensive knowledge to Just Ask Hal Computer Repair, which continues to grow to the present day.
