Alongside his pursuits with the Chris Hope Foundation, Mr. Hope is a dedicated driver for UPS, serving the premier delivery company for more than three decades. Through his dual roles as a UPS driver and nonprofit executive, he seeks to help others and make the world a better place. Mr. Hope has led TeamHOPE as the team captain in the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Marathon and, in only six years, his team has recruited over 150 fundraisers to raise over $704,349 for the hospital. For its success, the Chris Hope Foundation was voted among the Top Three Nonprofits by the Tri-State Defender Newspaper in 2016 and was awarded Community Choice Memphis Most Best Local Nonprofit, Chick-fil-a Community Champion and Teamsters National Black Caucus Pioneer awards in 2021. Earlier, Mr. Hope served as a photographer and photojournalist with several sources of media, including The Shelton Report, the Tri-State Defender, Memphis Health & Fitness Magazine, and his eponymously named company, Chris Hope Photography. He has maintained affiliation with the Greater Memphis and Germantown Chambers of Commerce. Mr. Hope attributes his success to his passion for helping others, having a caring heart and giving others the opportunity to be dedicated professionals. He has grown his foundation from two volunteers to more than 50 volunteers over the past few years, and his efforts have made a difference in his community.
