In 2020, Dr. Damask became a board member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy and was a member of the Summer Sinus Symposium Faculty with the American Rhinologic Society and director of faculty at the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy Annual Meeting in 2020. She is chair of education for the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. Sitting on myriad committees for relevant organizations within her areas of expertise, she has also contributed her knowledge to numerous publications. In recognition of her success, Dr. Damask received the Golden Apple Award and Presidential Recognition Award from the American Academy of Otolaryngology, previously receiving a Distinguished Service Award. Driven by a desire to help others, Dr. Cecelia C. Damask decided to enter the field of medicine. Receiving a BA from Northwestern College and DO from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed her internship in general surgery and a residency in otolaryngology at the Doctor’s Hospital/ Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she became chief resident in otolaryngology. At the inception of her career in 2004, she served Cape Fear Otolaryngology as an otolaryngologist before joining HCA Physician Services, Central Florida Regional ENT, LLC, in 2006. Since 2008, Dr. Damask has excelled as the owner of Lake Mary ENT & Allergy. Dr. Damask has also been the director of the Allergy Department at Cape Fear Otolaryngology since 2014 and an assistant professor of otolaryngology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine since 2017. She holds medical licenses in New York, Florida and North Carolina and a certification through the American Osteopathic Boards of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. CECELIA C.
