462 MILLENNIUM F or over two decades, Frank Guliuzza has dedicated himself to the academic field. Dr. Guliuzza served as chair of the political science and philosophy department at Weber State University from 1990 to 2008. Currently the dean of academic affairs at Patrick Henry College since 2008, he has served in leadership roles, including being the president of the American Mock Trial Association, the American Moot Court Association, chair of the Pre-Law Advisors National Council, president of the Western Association Pre-Law Advisors and chair of the Weber County Republican Party. Additionally, he served as vice chairman of the Utah Republican Party. He has utilized his political science expertise to author “Over the Wall” and co-author “Before the Paper Chase.” Dr. Guliuzza’s accomplishments in the field earned him the title of Utah Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. To prepare for his career, Dr. Guliuzza earned a Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame in 1990. He has been featured in several editions of Who’s Who in America and the 26th edition of Who’s Who in American Politics. B orn in Vigrestad, Norway, Lars Harr had early aspirations of becoming a doctor in order to fight the many viruses the world faces today. Dr. Harr began his career in medicine in 1962 as a staff physician at a hospital in Stavanger, Norway, and soon thereafter, became a general practitioner at another Norwegian hospital. Still wanting to learn more about medicine, Dr. Harr became a research fellow in the biochemistry department at the University of Bergen. With his expanding knowledge of medicine, he went on to hold several positions teaching future doctors and virologists, including roles as assistant professor, associate professor and professor. He has also contributed articles on biochemistry, molecular biology and virology to scientific publications. Additionally, Dr. Harr served as chairman of The Norwegian Society for Virology from 1993 to 2011, and used his medical expertise as a medical officer and lieutenant in the Norwegian Army.
