378 MILLENNIUM B orn September 22, 1944 in Matamata, Waikato, New Zealand, Kerry Peter Sutton is an innovative exhibition and graphics designer with over 49 years of professional experience. To prepare for his career, Mr. Sutton obtained a diploma in industrial design from Wellington Polytechnic School in New Zealand in 1964. His creativity, skills and imaginative designs have allowed him to excel, though he attributes his success to specializing in a number of product categories rather than remaining focused on just one, as many other industrial designers do. With an interest in feng shui, Mr. Sutton designed and invented the I-Ching Lucky Chime and the I-Ching Incense Burner. Creating innovative designs, watching them come to fruition, and successfully performing in the marketplace have been the highlights of his career thus far. Wanting to further his knowledge, Mr. Sutton completed coursework at ArtCenter College of Design in Los Angeles, Calif., from 1966 to 1968. He continues to remain active in the field through his affiliations with various creative arts organizations. He is a member of the Royal Overseas League and has been featured in Who’s Who in the World every year since 1998. Looking to the future, Mr. Sutton intends to continue working as an industrial designer in the Auckland region. Kerry Peter Sutton Exhibition and Graphics Designer Otahuhu, Auckland
