129 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine EDUCATION of her vocational duties, Ms. Rahn taught K-6 general music, junior high and high school choir, and ninth through 12th grade show choir, in addition to overseeing ninth through 12th grade play production. Since August 2022, she has taught at Benson High School in Omaha, Nebraska. Prior to joining the district, she student taught at Ralston Middle School, Mockingbird Elementary School and Karen Western Elementary School. As part of her collegiate studies, Ms. Rahn completed a choral work study between 2018 and 2019, in which she collaborated with thousands of high school students and their choral instructors and produced the 2018 Gospel Honors Choir at her alma mater. In addition, Ms. Rahn also participated with the Nebraska Music Education Association over the full course of her academic career from 2015 to 2019. Throughout her professional journey, Ms. Rahn has demonstrated her adaptability, passion, and skills as a collaborator and communicator. To commemorate her dedication and commitment to the field, she was recognized with the People’s Choice Award for Show Choir on two separate occasions, an accomplishment of which she is particularly proud. To wit, she attributes much of her success to her ability to build positive relationships with all individuals whom she encounters. Ms. Rahn always intended to pursue a career in which she could help others, having been inspired by her mother, who is a preschool teacher. From an early age, she knew music was a natural fit, as it was a constructive outlet in which she could express herself. In the coming years, Ms. Rahn intends to pursue a bachelor’s degree in counseling and a master’s degree in leadership and administration. Furthermore, she hopes to continue growing as an educator and sharing the joy of music with her students. Recently beginning her career in 2019, Lorren Rahn is a rising leader in the field of education. Shortly after graduating from Midland University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in music education, she began operating as the K-12 vocal music director for the Southern School District in Wymore, Nebraska.
