Furthermore, from 2012 to 2015, Ms. Rosengren became well-regarded for her culinary skills, operating as the owner and executive chef of Julia’s Cuisine Exotique. Filmmaking and acting have been Ms. Rosengren’s foremost passions. Over the course of her vocational journey, she has starred in and produced several films, including “Before Sunrise” in 2020, “Cult Cartel” in 2021, and her latest project, “Leaves,” in 2022. She also served as a producer and coordinator for the musical project “Vou Banindo” in 2020. To commemorate her accomplishments in the field, Ms. Rosengren has received numerous honors and accolades for her work, including over 20 awards for “Before Sunrise” and several awards for “Leaves” from various international film festivals and organizations. Originally from Brazil, Ms. Rosengren pursued a formal education at the University of São Paulo, where she earned an associate degree. In addition to her academic credentials, she is fluent in numerous languages, including Portuguese, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, Russian and Danish. Ms. Rosengren is also a co-founder of United Changing Lives, a charitable nonprofit organization located in northeast Brazil. In her other civic-minded endeavors, she regularly participates in Movies Making a Difference. From an early age, Ms. Rosengren knew she wanted to change the lives of others through her creativity, and she is thankful to have found numerous vocations in which she has been able to do so. In light of her fulfilling career, she attributes much of her success to the support of her late husband, family and friends. In the coming years, Ms. Rosengren aims to continue making a difference in the world. With over a decade of experience to her credit, Julie Lima Rosengren is a driven creator in the film industry. She currently excels as a filmmaker, actress and producer, working on her own independent projects and with ManoelFerreira Productions LLC.
