She is also a certified Scrum Master, certified Life Coach, Stress Management Therapist and Ordained Minister. She has authored three books and is the host of a podcast under the name Alison Jaye. Ms. De Souza received the Employee of the Year Award on four separate occasions from CBRE and the Hi5 Recognition Award on three occasions from Berkadia. In the coming years, Ms. De Souza intends to establish a nonprofit organization and faith-based group home to provide mentoring and resources to children who have been neglected, abused, lost their parents or left for the “system” to raise. She intends to create a safe space where children can complete their homework, access tutoring, be counseled by licensed therapists and provide them nutritious meals. Alison De Souza joined Berkadia in 2016 as the Office Manager in Miami. In early 2020, she was promoted to Executive Assistant. She was promoted a second time at the end of 2022, appointed the Program Manager for Berkadia’s DEIB platform, gaining a certification in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from Cornell University in 2023. Ms. De Souza held several roles at CBRE from 2012, including as Administrative Assistant, Senior Administrative Assistant and Office Services Supervisor, overseeing the Miami-Dade region of over 200 employees, also supported the President of Florida, Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to immigrating to the U.S., Ms. De Souza worked at SThree as a PA, where she started and chaired the Charity and Social committees. She also worked for the BBC as the Departmental Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the Head of Educational Publishing, among other organizations as an Office Manager. She also founded the company Alison Smith Weddings & Events. With over three decades in the corporate sector, Ms. De Souza has utilized her knowledge and skills to streamline office procedures and operations.
