70 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT Revered as an artist, designer, antique dealer, author, lecturer and illustrator, Helen Costantino Fioratti has excelled as the president of L’Antiquaire and the Connoisseur Incorporated in New York City since 1981. Previously serving as president of L’Antiquaire from 1963 to 1982, Ms. Fioratti has distinguished herself in her specializations of 18th century French and Italian furniture, as well as works of the Renaissance era. She was appointed the interior designer for many of Kuwait’s royal family, as well as other residences throughout the U.S., Europe and Mexico. Likewise, she was honored for her restoration of a 15th century property in Florence, Italy, and a hamlet near Siena that is over 1,000 years old. She was named Antique Dealer of the Year by the Round Table in 2021. Among other works, Ms. Fioratti penned “How to Know French Antiques,” “Playing Games” and “Illuminating Their World,” as well as commissioned to write “Il Mobile Italiano” by an Italian art historian. She holds a BS from the Parsons School of Design at the New School and New York University and has been a board member of the Art and Antique Dealers League of America. PRESIDENT L’Antiquaire and the Connoisseur Incorporated New York, NY HELEN COSTANTINO FIORATTI A prolific author and sculptor, Roy Garde Jones of Westwood, New Jersey, retired from his job as president of Garde Associates, which specialized in control modifications for elevators. He is now invested fully into writing and sculpting in mixed media. Writing under the penname Roy Garde, he has published five novels and has written 23 novellas and over 120 short stories. All his work can be found at www.roygarde.com. Mr. Jones was born in a small village in South Wales and worked in a coal mine for two years before joining the British Navy. There, he served on two destroyers and then on a frigate that was based in Hong Kong toward the end of the Korean hostilities. Subsequently, he worked for Otis Elevator in London and, after four years, was sent to Puerto Rico, where he visited every island in the Caribbean that had at least one elevator. He also worked in Venezuela and Ecuador. Seeking bigger challenges, he then moved to New York City, where he worked for three different companies before establishing his own business.
