Mr. Wood originally began his career in 1974, working with Hughes Aircraft Company for 30 years. He also worked with GM Hughes Electronics for several years, having joined the company in 2004. During his time with Hughes Aircraft Company, Mr. Wood worked extensively on automated storage and retrieval systems, which were subsequently discussed in an issue of Modern Materials Handling magazine. Mr. Wood also served as a facilities project manager at Cypress College and Fullerton College, both of which are part of the North Orange County Community College District. Having cultivated his own formal education, he had already familiarized himself with the schooling environment. During his academic career, Mr. Wood earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering at California State University, Long Beach and a Master of Business Administration at California State University, Fullerton. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Wood is especially proud of his work within the North Orange County Community College District, having overseen numerous successful projects during his time with the organization. In accounting for his accomplishments, he largely attributes his success to the guidance of his colleagues at Hughes Aircraft Company, who nurtured his skills and provided him with a solid foundation in the industry. Looking to the future, Mr. Wood intends to retire in January 2023, though he hopes to continue providing consultation services in the coming years. H aving accumulated nearly 50 years of experience, Jeff S. Wood is a proven expert in the field of technology management. Since 2016, he has operated as the senior facilities project manager at Collins Aerospace in Anaheim, California.
