166 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENERGY, ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING Having accrued over two decades of experience, Mary Alice Dunphy has cultivated a fulfilling career as a cybersecurity architect, specializing in cloud migration, application risk assessment, and writing policies and procedures. In 2020, she began operating as an IT security architect at RootStaff in Vero Beach, Florida. Since beginning her career in 1998, Ms. Dunphy has held a variety of positions within her field, including as a network engineer for Imation Corp., a senior technical project manager for Wells Fargo and a managing consultant for Wipro. As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Dunphy pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Science in information management systems at the National American University in 2002 and a Master of Science in telecommunications and IT management from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2005. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in business administration at Walden University. As part of her dedication to the field, she has remained affiliated with several industry-related organizations, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. In the coming years, she hopes to complete her doctorate and expand her network in the industry. Lyons Jr. has served as a partner at Neu-Velle LLC in Rochester, New York, since 2015. A professional engineer in the State of New York and certified as an asbestos designer, he commenced his career in 1988 as a project engineer for the Monroe County Department of Engineering. After two years in his role, he then joined MK Furgeson as an environmental engineer until 1993 and URS Consultants as a project engineer from 1993 to 1994. For the subsequent eight years, Mr. Lyons was a manager for Blasland, Bouck & Lee Inc., before ascending to the position of senior project manager for Environmental Resources Management. Following these appointments, he was a general manager for MARCOR Remediation Inc., for two years and vice president and chief operating officer for Great Lakes Environmental & Safety Consultants Inc., for nine years. Drawing upon a BS in civil engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1990, Mr. Lyons attributes much of his success to his honest nature.
