188 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENTREPRENEURS Having accumulated 30 years of professional experience, Jamie Hudecek Laughton is a proven expert in the field of interior design. Specializing in residential design, she has served as the owner and designer of Ceramic Tile Center Stonework and Design since 2016. As part of her duties in her leadership positions, she oversees much of the company’s marketing by writing blogs, newsletters and television commercials. Furthermore, she handles staff training, client appointments, and architectural plan details and specifications. Prior to joining the Ceramic Tile Center, Ms. Laughton acquired much of her success managing her own company, Laughton Interiors LLC. Adjacent to her primary endeavors, Ms. Laughton also remains active in her community as a civic-minded citizen. Alongside her company, she participates in numerous local charities, including the Eddy House, which helps at-risk children by providing housing, food and transportation. Furthermore, she continues to support the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. Ms. Laughton and her colleagues also offer a percentage of their service fees to the Achievement Beyond Obstacles scholarship program, which helps underprivileged children acquire a proper education. Before embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Laughton pursued her own formal education, earning a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and public relations, magna cum laude, at the University of Southern California in 1981. To commemorate her efforts in the field, she was previously honored with the Woman of Distinction Award by the state of Nevada in 2019. In accounting for her numerous accomplishments, Ms. Laughton has attributed much of her success to her passion for creating and designing. In light of her fulfilling career, she is especially proud to continue living up to her company’s motto, “Where vision becomes reality.” In the coming years, Ms. Laughton hopes to retire, at which point she will begin training to serve as a hospice counselor.
