51 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine Cazenovia College in New York, where she holds the title of professor emerita. As a celebrated illustrator and ceramic artist, Ms. Buffalo is proud to have had her artwork displayed around the world, including in Gallery 30 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse, New York, the Eureka Gallery, and several other galleries and schools overseas in China, Singapore and Japan. As an art educator, Ms. Buffalo has held a number of notable positions and responsibilities at Cazenovia College. Originally joining as a professor, she specialized in educating students on a range of artistic topics, from art history to studio art, as well as basic drawing and design. Ms. Buffalo subsequently took on a variety of administrative duties, serving as the director of the two bachelor’s degree programs, the center chair for the Center for Art and Design, and the chair of the Program Assessment Committee. In addition to her professional experience, Ms. Buffalo is also well regarded for her dedication to civic advocacy, regularly volunteering as a pet therapist in the psychiatric department of University Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, she pursued her own education at Syracuse University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in ceramics in 1973 and a Master of Fine Arts in illustration in 1985. Over the course of her career, Ms. Buffalo has largely attributed her success to her perseverance and determination. She has always loved teaching, and she knew she would find a career in education to be deeply rewarding and mentally stimulating. To this end, Ms. Buffalo is proud to have taught many successful students, and while she intends to continue creating art, she expects she will retire sometime in the near future. With over 50 years of experience to her credit, Jo Buffalo has cultivated a career of excellence as an artist and art educator. Since 1972, she has worked as the owner and operator of Jo Buffalo Studio, and since 1986, she has remained affiliated with JO BUFFALO OWNER AND OPERATOR, JO BUFFALO STUDIO PROFESSOR EMERITA, CAZENOVIA COLLEGE Syracuse, NY ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT
