Mr. Redwood has sown seeds as a community organizer with the Rescue Mission, Boys & Girls Club and as a visiting professor for the National Urban League. Furthermore, he has served on the editorial advisory board for Automation World Magazine and as a contributing writer for Packaging World Magazine. He hopes to eclipse those efforts with his own books, which are works in progress. Above all of his professional accomplishments, Mr. Redwood is most proud of being a father. He is thankful to God for his two “miracle babies,” who have both thrived, walking the halls of Cornell, Stanford, the Universities of Cincinnati and New Haven. Looking ahead, Mr. Redwood plans to enlarge his role in the boardroom as a paid director; additionally, he wishes to become a great cheerleader for women in technology in support of his daughters, who are both engineers. Leveraging over three decades of experience, Paul Redwood has cultivated a prosperous career in technology, automation and product innovation. Since 2019, he has operated as the co-founder, president, chairman and managing director of Redwood Design Engineering LLC in Millstone, New Jersey. Furthermore, he serves his community as a chaplain and pastor. Mr. Redwood proudly served as chairman of the board of the Organization of Machine Automation and Control from 2017 to 2019. Mr. Redwood has long dedicated himself to the betterment of his community through his entrepreneurial endeavors. In his current role as managing director with Redwood Design Engineering, he is particularly privy to the goals and needs of his clients, which highly influence how he delivers digital transformation products. Several industry organizations, including the National Society of Black Engineers, ARC Advisory Group, the Industrial IoT Consortium and the PMMI Pack Expos, remain a part of his technology DNA. Mr. Redwood is a former trustee of the Dr. Murphy Scholarship at Hofstra University.
