Since 1996, he has served as the owner and chief executive officer of Cald & A Consulting Company LLC, where he specializes in commercial construction within the realms of federal, state and municipality-level construction. Prior to taking ownership of the company, Mr. Calderon served as the owner of Italia Construction for 10 years. He was also a general foreman for Brown & Root Industrial Services (now a part of KBR, Inc.) for three years. Mr. Calderon originally began his career working with Kiewit Corporation for three years, beginning as a driving foreman and rising to the position of structure superintendent. As part of his dedication to his profession, he remains affiliated with his local freemason organization and the Better Business Bureau. Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Calderon pursued a formal education at the University of New Mexico, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. For the length of his career, Mr. Calderon has been driven by his desire for success. To this end, he has found a wealth of success in being able to provide for his family and see his own children thrive in their respective endeavors. Many of these ideals were instilled in Mr. Calderon by his father, who, after immigrating to the United States from Mexico, worked extensively in the construction industry and inspired his children to tirelessly pursue their dreams. In light of his accomplished career, Mr. Calderon is especially proud to have built a strong structure with his company. He believes it will remain for many years as a lasting legacy for his 10 children, each of whom he is also immensely proud.
