As a leader within the company, Mr. Williams specializes in managing the organization’s budget and planning a strategic direction for investments and other business pursuits. Mr. Williams honorably served in the United States Air Force for 24 years, achieving the rank of colonel prior to retiring in 2013. During his years of service, he operated in various roles, most notably working as the SOF C-130 director with the PEO-Fixed Wing U.S. Special Operations Command from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, he was the B-2 system program director from 2010 to 2013. Mr. Williams played a pivotal role in the development of various programs for aviation weapons and other operational strategies. Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Williams pursued a formal education, beginning with his time at the United States Air Force Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering mechanics in 1989. He subsequently continued his studies and received an MBA at Xavier University in 1995. Mr. Williams concluded his academic career at the National Defense University Eisenhower School, achieving a Master of Science in national resource strategy in 2006. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Williams largely attributes his success to the values his parents, aunts and uncles instilled in him. Furthermore, he offers many thanks to his mentors, including Lt. Gen. Dick Reynolds, Lt. Gen. Charlie Coolidge and James Geurts. In accounting for his accomplishments, he is especially proud to have assisted in establishing the SNC Aviation Innovation & Technology Center. In the coming years, Mr. Williams looks forward to continuing his tireless work with Sierra Nevada Corporation. Leveraging over three decad es of professional experience, Mark C.
