144 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine MEDICINE, HEALTHCARE AND WELLNESS PROGRAM MANAGER OF COMMUNITY INTEGRATION Pee Dee Mental Health Center Effingham, SC Natalie Jane Morgan built a distinguished nursing career defined by a decade of international service in Saudi Arabia. As an American travel nurse, she cared for a uniquely diverse patient population, including individuals from remote desert regions such as Bedouin populations, as well as members of the Saudi royal family. Her work required clinical expertise, cultural sensitivity and adaptability across complex healthcare environments. Now practicing within the WakeMed hospital system in North Carolina, Ms. Morgan brings a strong cardiac foundation while supporting a variety of specialties, floating between units to meet evolving patient needs. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Walden University to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner, with a focus on advancing mental healthcare. Having overcome significant adversity early in life, Ms. Morgan is passionate about encouraging others to find strength through hardship. She is also developing a book reflecting on her international nursing experience and personal journey, with the goal of inspiring resilience and hope in others. Cathy Lance-Timmons has always been devoted to the betterment of others, allocating her expertise, time and resources to her community for more than 30 years. Since 1992, she has served as the program manager at Pee Dee Mental Health Center in South Carolina, focusing on community integration. Overseeing 13 programs for children, adults and families, she launched Silver Years (formerly the Alzheimer’s Dementia Day Treatment Program), where she aids elderly patients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease by engaging them in stimulating cognitive exercises. Ms. Lance-Timmons also helped establish the Cathy Lance-Timmons Mental Health Awareness Walk and served as the interim executive director from 2021 to 2022. Notably, the Pee Dee Mental Health Center issued a proclamation in Ms. Lance-Timmons’ honor in 2025. She also earned an Employee of the Year designation, as well as the Champion in the Fight Ending Homelessness for Persons with Mental Illness Award at the Mental Health America-SC 65th Annual Birthday Celebration in 2019. Looking ahead, she aims to continue working with unhoused populations. She holds a BS in sociology from Morris College and an MSW from Clark Atlanta University.
