75 Millennium - Twenty-third Edition BUSINESS, FINANCE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP As the vice president and director of diversity, equity and inclusion for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, Ms. Whyte administers the entity’s fourpronged approach to corporate inclusion and oversees emergency grants, employee resource groups and learning management. As a part of her commitment to professional growth, she completed a Master of Business Administration in project management at the Florida Institute of Technology in 2021. She appeared in Philadelphia Magazine and was presented with the 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility Award by the Excellence in HR Organization, an honor she considers a professional benchmark. Currently, she serves as co-chair of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association’s inclusion and engagement committee and strives to mentor the next generation of human resources leaders to continue her work. In 2014, Ms. Whyte joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a risk project manager and quickly transitioned to become a diversity and inclusion program manager, tasked with boosting recruitment and retention of Black and Hispanic women executives. During her six years with the company, Ms. Whyte expanded on this goal to include a robust talent development program that enabled leaders within the company to expand their skills and go on to innovate in other sectors, such as pharmaceuticals, personal care, technology and retail. Further building on her success in recruitment and inclusion, she was named assistant vice president of enterprise diversity and inclusion at Lincoln National Corporation in 2020, departing two years later to accept her current role at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC.
