She directed enterprise leadership development, organizational strategy and change management initiatives. She also advised executive leadership on culture, workforce strategy and large-scale transformation before leaving the organization in 2020. Throughout her 30 years of experience, Ms. Hukel has helped many people through coaching, and she finds fulfillment in making a difference in their lives. She believes everyone should live freely and not let others control their choices – the foundation of Awakening The Consciousness Within. Her mission includes teaching children to build healthy mindsets, which she plans to explore further in upcoming books that expand the reach of her message in “Courageously Authentic®” but adapted for younger audiences. She aims to support the development of a new generation of strong, confident, self-aware individuals who believe in themselves, live in alignment with their values and lead with authenticity. Ms. Hukel has built a career by leading with respect, integrity and a deep commitment to valuing people as individuals. While the change brought challenges, she was able to use her prior expertise to transition successfully into this next phase. She began her human resources career at ABB before joining Chubb Insurance Company. Her promotion to assistant vice president of underwriting development came within six months, reflecting her outstanding performance overseeing the professional development of underwriters across more than 130 offices in 29 countries. After a two-year venture as owner of Structure By Design, Ms. Hukel served as the director of change leadership and talent development at Valassis Marketing Solutions from 2007 to 2014. Here, she was selected to lead the company’s Best Places to Work initiative in manufacturing, partnering with 20 branch locations nationwide. Her work focused on driving improvements through organizational effectiveness, emphasizing leadership development, cultural alignment and change management.
