As one of seven children with 92 cousins, she learned early how to adapt to her environment and communicate effectively. She calls these qualities her superpowers, and they have contributed significantly to her success. Ms. Ibe’s work lies at the crossroads of regulatory requirements, operations and technology. She has become an expert at ensuring companies have a compliant and scalable program that meets people-related regulations. Her role is to ensure such regulations are adequately addressed. In May 2026, Ms. Ibe began a new role as the senior people compliance global team lead at Snowflake, a cloud-based data platform used for data storage, analytics and AI engineering. She is excited to enter the tech space and aims to establish herself as a recognized figure in the industry who prioritizes people while ensuring compliance within organizations. Ms. Ibe previously worked for six years at Amazon.com Inc., where she began in 2020 as a senior HR risk and compliance manager, program owner, and immigration and rightto-work lead for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. She then became the global risk and compliance lead for global expansions, a position she held for four years. Most recently, Ms. Ibe was the global risk and compliance lead for privacy and people data at Amazon. In this role, she oversaw employee data and its associated intellectual property rights and was responsible for the company’s human capital management system. She was also tasked with ensuring the correct people policies and employment regulations specific to the countries in which Amazon operates. Prior to her work at Amazon, Ms. Ibe held leadership roles at the consulting firm EY, including as a senior manager of global immigration. Before that, she spent two years at Dearson Winyard, an immigration specialist firm, as an immigration manager and consultant. She was also a senior corporate immigration consultant at Breytenbachs Immigration Consultants Ltd. for approximately a year.
