Pleasant, WI JOSEPH CLAROS Joseph Claros has achieved success across 25 years of military service and civilian-sector positions, culminating in his current role as deputy chief of staff for logistics and previously serving as the commander of the 17th Sustainment Brigade with the Nevada National Guard. Overseeing daily policymaking and regulatory requirements for the U.S. Army’s logistics and sustainment sections, he helms the maintenance of Army vehicles and supervises a workforce of over 100 employees throughout Northern Nevada and Las Vegas. In 2025, the 17th Sustainment Brigade was deployed to the Middle East. As the brigade commander, Mr. Claros directly aided warfighters in the area, supporting all logistics requirements. Previously, he was a project engineer with the Army Corps of Engineers in South Korea and an Army officer on active duty following enlistment in the Washington Army National Guard as a private first class. In the civilian space, Mr. Claros served in leadership roles at Nestlé, United Airlines and Hilti. Earning a Legion of Merit and two Bronze Star Medals, Mr. Claros holds two master’s degrees, a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Air Force Air War College, and an MBA from Northcentral University. Andrew Saunders has worked on U.S. Embassies and Consulates worldwide for over 20 years, focusing on telecommunications and physical and technical security. Such professional success is a significant accomplishment, as a car accident in college left him with a brain injury that he has worked hard to overcome. Mr. Saunders’ work began at J.A. Jones International LLC, where he collaborated with telecom, electrical and civil departments in Kazakhstan, Georgia, the Ivory Coast and Bulgaria. He worked in India, Mexico, Djibouti and Afghanistan. His first stint with The Walsh Group began in Norway in 2012, when friends encouraged him to join the outstanding firm. In 2017, he became an airport systems superintendent at New York’s LaGuardia Airport, overseeing telecommunications system upgrades. He also served as a construction security manager in the Bahamas and Morocco directly afterward. Mr. Saunders is now the lead integration superintendent of the Microsoft data center projects for The Walsh Group, a six-plus-year assignment in Wisconsin.
