Amy L. Morgan is a distinguished leader in emergency medical services with 15 years of professional excellence. As an experienced paramedic, she serves with Emergency Medical Services of Arkansas in Forrest City, Arkansas, where she prepares for emergency 911 responses and responds to a wide array of medical incidents. Having provided prehospital care during large-scale emergencies such as tornadoes, mass shootings and other mass-casualty events, her dedication has resulted in her sometimes working upwards of 96 consecutive hours to ensure ambulance coverage for the county. Similarly, Ms. Morgan is an emergency medical technician at Emerson Ambulance Services and NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital, delivering advanced life support interventions under physician guidance. Further, she is a field training officer, having mentored new EMTs and paramedics in real-world environments, as well as a paramedic instructor and clinical coordinator at UA-EACC. Previously, Ms. Morgan spent 16 years transporting inmates across the nation as an extradition agent. After earning paramedic certification, she obtained an AAS in nursing and paramedicine from Black River Technical College.
