As chief executive officer of Symponia Hospice, she delivers compassionate, patientcentered care across 10 metro Atlanta counties, earning recognition as the Best Hospice in Georgia in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Ms. Houser is known for developing innovative approaches to hospice care, such as a distinctive music therapy program. Guided by an upbringing that emphasized human rights, open-mindedness and community service, her professional foundation is rooted in the belief that everybody is somebody. These values, along with a deep sense of responsibility, drive both her achievements and her commitment to excellence. In addition to her hospice work, Ms. Houser’s service extends to We Honor Veterans, a volunteer program she created. The nonprofit is dedicated to honoring veterans and addressing the critical mental health challenges they face, including post-traumatic stress disorder, moral injury and suicide prevention.
