Throughout her career, Ms. Tan has intentionally built experience across broadcasting, journalism, documentaries, education and technology. Rather than viewing these fields as separate disciplines, she sees them as interconnected ways of telling stories, solving problems and bringing people together. Whether photographing the Olympic Games, teaching students, mentoring founders, or building Adobe’s partner ecosystem, she has been driven by the same belief: the best ideas emerge when people with different backgrounds and perspectives come together. Looking ahead, Ms. Tan hopes to continue building cross-industry partnerships that empower creative professionals while eventually producing visual stories that highlight multicultural experiences and underrepresented voices through her creative work. She believes the most meaningful innovation happens when technology amplifies rather than replaces human creativity, and she hopes her own unconventional journey encourages others to pursue paths defined by curiosity instead of convention. exhibitions at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, publication in Photographer’s Forum Magazine, and inclusion in Sohonet’s 2026 International Women’s Day series, celebrating women across the media industry. Beyond her work in photography and journalism, Ms. Tan has become increasingly involved in emerging creative technologies. She has won and judged multiple Silicon Valley hackathons and has served as an honorable judge for Project Odyssey Season 2 and the Chroma Awards, film festivals dedicated to AIdriven storytelling. These experiences have strengthened her belief that generative AI will fundamentally transform filmmaking while reinforcing the importance of preserving authentic human creativity. Outside Adobe, Ms. Tan serves as an adjunct professor at Asbury University, where she teaches the next generation of media professionals. She also co-chairs the Innovation Zone for the Hollywood Professional Association, mentors entrepreneurs and young professionals through Swissnex and Rise Women in Broadcast, and is an angel investor through The Council, support-
