338 MILLENNIUM-SECOND EDITION W ith over three decades of professional experience, Jean- Philippe Siblet has been the director of natural heritage service at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris since 2007 and the director of expertise since 2017. To prepare for a fruitful career, Mr. Siblet earned a degree in public law from the University of Paris II. Eight years later he became head of nature protection services for the Regional Direction of Environment. During his tenure there, he returned to school, subsequently earning a degree in bird census methods from Dijon University. Actively involved in natural conservation efforts, Mr. Siblet is a member of the World Professional Chuckwagon Association and the International Union for Nature Conservancy. He received the Vermeil Medal from the French Academy of Agriculture and the National Order of Merit from the president of the French Republic. He was also featured in the 32nd and 33rd editions of Who’s Who in the World in 2014 and 2016, respectively, as well as the 71st edition of Who’s Who in America in 2018. In addition, he was named an Industry Leader by Marquis Who’s Who in 2016. Mr. Siblet has served as general secretary of the French Society of Ornithological Studies and as president of the Naturalist Association of Ouessant and the Loing Valley and Fontainebleau Forest Naturalists’ Association, a natural history organization in France. As he continues to progress, he hopes to experience continued growth and success in his career. He also plans to invest more time in bird watching, which he enjoys doing as a hobby. A native of Paris, France, Mr. Siblet has been married to Corinne Siblet since 1984 and currently resides in Saint- Mammès, France. He was born on March 29, 1957 and is 62 years old.
