Ms. Gray received a BS in Health Policy and Administration from Pennsylvania State University in 1989. Once per year, she teaches a Health Policy and Administration class at her alma mater. She currently serves as Senior Vice President of Health and Welfare Consulting at Trion, a Marsh & McLennan Agency. Excelling in this position since 2000, she had previously been a Senior Consultant at Trion. Additionally, she was Vice President of Aon Consulting from 1999 to 2000 and was the National Account Manager of Aetna from 1989 to 1999. Skilled at analyzing companies’ health care costs and benefit plans, Ms. Gray is an expert in identifying financial opportunities and assisting with strategic planning, particularlywith large, self- insured clients. Her long term goal is to have four or five younger adults to whom she will be able to pass the torch. Ms. Gray sits on the Board of Corporators for Hamot Hospital, a division of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She is involved with the Alumni Association at Penn State. She is also an academic partner of Human Resource Professionals, presenting continuing education classes for the University of North Carolina Kenan- Flagler Business School in conjunction with University Conference Services. Ms. Gray is a member of the National Business Group on Health in Washington, D.C., and is a founding member of GROW, a Women in Business initiative at Trion. She is licensed in accident, health, life and fixed annuities in 32 states. The advice that she can offer to the next generation aspiring to work in her profession would be to work tirelessly toward your goals. As America struggles with the affordability of health care, she and her team have developed strategic initiatives for employers to positively affect the cost of health care.
