ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, UNDERWRITING CONSULTANT Alliant Insurance Services Staten Island, NY DAVID R. PANZA D avid R. Panza was strong in mathematics his entire life, and in 1980, he graduated with a BA inmathematics fromPace University. Originally studying to be an actuary, Mr. Panza moved over to group insurance in 1985. He is now a registered health underwriter. Since 2014, Mr. Panza has been an assistant vice president and underwriting consultant at Alliant Insurance Services. For nearly 30 years prior to these roles, he served as an account manager for the company from 1985 to 2014. Mr. Panza attributes his success in his field to hard work and dedication, and taking his work and clients seriously. Outside of his career, Mr. Panza is president of the Staten Island Athletic Club, who awarded him with the Lou Marli Service Award in 2010. Additionally, Mr. Panza is a fellow of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and meetings, and he hopes to take on more responsibility with an expanded role as he continues with Alliant Insurance Services.
