ELLIOT D esiring to educate the youth, Dr. Esi A. Elliot served as a global marketing educator for more than 25 years. A professor of Marketing and International Business at the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley, whilst at Suffolk, she spearheaded the Young Innovators Program, which offers global innovation programs to students beginning at the age of 14. She also taught at George Washington University and the University of Illinois, winning an award for her teaching of global innovation from the X-Culture project, where she collaborated with other professors from over 40 countries to teach international marketing. Her work as an international global innovator recently won her an award as a community engagement personality for African Women in Finance in 2020. Drawing upon a BSBA in banking and finance from the University of Ghana, Dr. Elliot earned an MBA in international business from Schiller International University. Later, she achieved a PhD in business adminis- tration and marketing from the University of Illinois. Dr. Elliot has pub- lished her works inmany scholarlyMarketing and International Business journals and is the author of the novel “Easy Game.” She has contributed articles to scientific journals and chapters to multicultural books. A distinguished health and physical education educator, Dr. Leslie Kay Hickcox served as a para-educator at a Special Education Learning Center with Portland Public Schools in 2019. Currently, she teaches and tutors online health science and language arts education for students nationally and internationally through Varsity Tutors. She has also been an educator and health insurance agent for Family Heritage, Guardian, HealthCare.gov Moda, Providence, Pacific Source, Kaiser & Oregon’s Health CO-OP since 2013. In her 30-plus year career, she has taught throughout the country at Portland State University, Marylhurst University, Northeastern Illinois UniversityOregon State University and Stony Brook University, among others. Notably, she was afforded the opportunity to teach at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Dr. Hickcox earned a BA from the University of the Redlands, MA in exercise physiology from the University of the Pacific and MEd in curriculum teaching from Columbia University. Matriculating at Oregon State University, she achieved an MEd in health education, MEd in guidance and counseling, and EdD in education.
