253 A Marquis Who's Who Magazine I lone M. Macduff is a retired music educator who has dedicated her life to sharing her passion with others. Ms. Macduff received a Bachelor of Music from the University of Idaho in 1976. She has dedicated herself to her community, holding several positions within the Boy Scouts of America, including that of district Cub Scout program chairman from 1973 to 1975 and member of the Tumwater Area Council Pow Wow staff from 1973 to 1976. The founder of a Cub Scout day camp in 1973, she was also chairman of the council Scout-O- Rama from 1979 to 1981, a member of the council’s Eagle Board, and an international representative from 1983 to 1993. Ms. Macduff remains a member of the American College of Musicians and the Olympia Music Teachers Association, having served as the latter’s president from 2003 to 2004 and as the student recital chair in 2005. She was also the voice auditions chair for the Olympia chapter of the Music Teachers National Association in 2001 and 2004. Ms. Macduff is affiliated with the Gordon Setter Club of America and served as chairman of its national dog show in 2003. She is also a member of the Puget Sound Gordon Setter Club, for which she served as treasurer from 1998 to 2000 and as show chairman from 2003 to 2004. She received the Lamb Award in 1987, the District Commissioner Award from the Boy Scouts of America in 1981, the Silver Beaver Award in 1981, as well as awards from the National Federation of Music Clubs in 1969 and 1977.
