100 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine GOVERNMENT AND MILITARY TYRONE CLARK ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST Chippewa National Forest Bemidji, MN Dr. Tyrone Clark has spent his career serving others, first in the U.S. Army, later in civilian roles, and now through his series of inspirational books. His newest work, “My Journey in Grace: A Brand New Story,” will be published in 2026. Dr. Clark is the administrative management specialist at Chippewa National Forest for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He began this role in 2024. He is an expert in administrative management and organizational support. He provides direct assistance to the forest supervisor and the deputy forest supervisor. He also onboards employees, issues identification cards, assigns and checks out vehicles, manages correspondence, and acts as a contract representative for janitorial services. Dr. Clark’s position is a “catch-all” job that collects many necessary but often tedious tasks. These tasks enable the department to run smoothly. His role allows him to assist people with a wide range of issues. He serves as the organization's central hub. This results in some busy days, but supporting colleagues through challenges is most gratifying for him. Before taking on his current role in 2024, Dr. Clark served as the executive assistant at Chippewa National Forest from 2013 to 2024. Prior to joining the U.S. Department of Agriculture, he worked for five years with the U.S. Department of Defense as a family readiness support assistant, providing administrative support to Army Community Service programs and helping military families navigate challenges and access essential resources. Dr. Clark’s civilian work follows more than 20 years of service in the U.S. Army and the Army Reserves. He was an administrative management specialist from 1981 to 1986. Then, he served as a logistics noncommissioned officer until 2008. He retired with the rank of sergeant first class. In these positions, he developed core expertise in organizational support and administration. He managed operations critical to mission success. He received the Defense Meritorious Service Medal in 1988 for a year-long tour in Turkey.
