13 Millennium - Twenty-third Edition Millennium Magazine Featured Listee ACADEMIA, EDUCATION AND EDUCATIONAL SERVICES From an early age, Geoffrey C. Rudolf has dedicated his life to community service and disability advocacy, culminating in his current role as a classroom paraeducator at Baltimore City Public Schools. Since 2007, he has helped students with disabilities achieve personal and academic success by assisting with personal hygiene, feeding, physical mobility and communication. Well-versed in physical therapy and occupational therapy activities, Mr. Rudolf also creates personalized educational resources tailored to each student’s individual needs. Although he has achieved many career milestones, Mr. Rudolf is particularly proud of the students under his tutelage who have gone on to graduate and secure employment, many of whom were initially deemed non-verbal or incapable of improvement. To this end, Mr. Rudolf is also grateful for his studies in applied behavior analysis, which have advanced his understanding of his students’ behavioral challenges. Earlier in his career, he served as a subcontractor to support platforms for students with disabilities, where he tracked individualized education programs (IEPs), attendance and behavior records. Concurrently, Mr. Rudolf serves as a real estate rental manager for Agapa Homes, the owner of the Geoffrey Real Estate Group, and the banquet captain and snack bar manager of the Rolling Road Golf Club. Through these appointments, he has exercised his leadership prowess and community engagement, having managed rental properties and operated a cleaning company that services Baltimore-based churches and synagogues. Likewise, Mr. Rudolf serves as the treasurer of the Blooming Beyond Barriers PTA and participates in regular KickAthon events for students with autism. Mr. Rudolf holds an AS in business management and an AA in business administration from the Community College of Baltimore County and is pursuing a BBA at Western Governors University. Looking toward the future, he endeavors to pursue a master’s degree in special education after completing his undergraduate degree. Ultimately, his goal is to continue advocating on behalf of students with disabilities throughout the wider Baltimore community. GEOFFREY C.
