Bowling developed an early passion for geology. Throughout his 46-year career across eight states, he has helped develop and refine drilling methods still used today, gathering and interpreting data on-site to identify oil and gas accumulations. Mr. Bowling is a wellsite geologist with Sudbrink Geological Consulting Inc., a position he has held since 2020. His expertise has taken him through several consulting firms over the years, including his own from 2010 to 2017. His work includes identifying anticipated and unanticipated oil and gas reservoirs, testing and documenting geological formations, and analyzing gas data from the wellbore. However, Mr. Bowling’s most notable achievements come from adapting to varying methodologies and geological terrain, especially in the early days of Williston Basin horizontal drilling, when no set methodology existed. He worked with other geologists and engineers to help develop new techniques that improved drilling efficiency in several different formations in North Dakota’s Williston Basin during the early 1990s. Mr. Bowling finds integrity and attention to detail vital – traits he considers his defining quality. He also believes perseverance and teamwork are essential, values he has consistently demonstrated throughout his career. As a renowned telecommunications expert, particularly in copper and fiber optics, Jeff Ascolese is widely respected in the industry, with over 35 years of experience. Since 2017, he has served as the owner of QBL Innovations LLC, where he not only ensures his employees’ success but also helps supply new equipment to major telecommunications companies across the continental U.S. Additionally, he designs and develops meters, test equipment and products essential to fiber optic deployment. Concurrently, Mr. Ascolese is a managing partner at Parlay Innovations, a position he has held since 2018. Mr. Ascolese commenced his career with Verizon in 1989, first as a facilities technician for 16 years and subsequently as a local area manager for three years. From 2008 to 2010, he also served as a senior staff consultant at Verizon, having thereafter held the role of partner at V8 Communications LLC for five years before assuming his current position. Outside of his career, Mr. Ascolese supports Sippy Poo, an annual fundraising event for the Fisher House Foundation, providing housing for veterans and military families.
