178 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SOCIAL WORK, PUBLIC SERVICE, NONPROFIT AND HUMANITIES at several agencies that served adults with disabilities. She managed residential and day programs, oversaw case managers, advocated for clients and ensured quality services were delivered. Earlier, she was a music therapist and music instructor. Ms. Lisek’s unwavering faith in God and strong work ethic have brought her where she is today. Along the way, she overcame significant life challenges. However, these trials gave her a renewed purpose, equipping her for a career built upon serving others. Following a transformative mission trip to Kenya, Ms. Lisek’s vision for Grace in Love was crystallized. In 2023, Ms. Lisek published her story in “Grace in Love: Experiencing the Transformational Change of God’s Grace (A Guidebook).” In 2025, she released an inspirational children’s coloring book, titled “You Can Do This!”, with the goal of donating as many copies of both books as possible to individuals going through difficult times. At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, anxiety, depression and other mental health struggles surged. Recognizing the profound need for positivity and connection, and drawing on past personal experience, Amy Lisek founded Grace in Love, Inc. in 2020. Through this volunteerrun nonprofit, she sends free encouraging care packages and prayer support to individuals in need. The nonprofit also offers a free blogging platform where bloggers can post positive content. To date, Grace in Love has sent out more than 1,000 uplifting care packages to those navigating difficult times, including a recent delivery of 200 packages to cancer survivors. This meaningful work is made possible through generous collaborations with companies such as Ulta Beauty, Bath & Body Works and L’Oréal. In 2025, Grace in Love was nominated for the Chicago Innovation Award. The nonprofit also consistently earns GuideStar’s Platinum Transparency Rating. In addition to her nonprofit, Ms. Lisek is a staffing assistant for Advocate Children's Hospital. She previously served as a patient care companion for the organization, a position that brought her back to the hospital after her music therapy internship there 14 years prior.
