Chad Forbes found his inspiration on his high school yearbook staff. Under his English teacher's instruction, he discovered his passion for graphic design and gained experience that significantly contributed to his creative and professional development. This passion is the foundation of a successful career in signage manufacturing. Mr. Forbes is a project manager at Brown Enterprises, a position he has held since 2010. In this role, he meets with clients, assesses their interior or exterior signage needs, and ensures compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Projects include room and wayfinding signage in hospitals and corporate office buildings. He also procures engineered drawings and permits and confirms that outdoor signs comply with city codes. Known for demonstrating a strong work ethic, Mr. Forbes consistently approaches his work with diligence and professionalism. Due to his likable nature, he maintains positive relationships with clients and takes the time to understand their needs. When issues arise, he helps clients navigate challenges, resolve concerns efficiently, and identify solutions that align with both budgetary and design requirements. Mr. Forbes applied these skills to a nationwide signage changeover for a bank headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, where his company is located. The project covered more than 65 locations across the country and called for coordinated execution across 16 states within a three-month period to meet banking compliance requirements. A total of 3,165 different signs were designed and produced for this project, including exterior and interior office signage, nameplates and building logos. Throughout his time at Brown Enterprises, Mr. Forbes has played an essential role in managing client relationships and overseeing complex signage projects. He is committed to supporting the organization’s continued growth by mentoring and developing the next generation of industry professionals.
