Since becoming a real estate agent, he has also earned his real estate license, a certification as a residential specialist, and the designation of graduate of the REALTOR® Institute from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Mr. Cantrill is a deeply committed community volunteer. He is a member of the Masonic Shrine Club and has served as president four times. He is also active in the town’s Rotary Club and was selected as president in 2012. Additionally, Mr. Cantrill cooks a monthly meal at the local Elks Lodge and participates in fundraising events for the Humane Society and Rim Country Artists. In a unique and significant feat, Mr. Cantrill has ridden his motorcycle from coast to coast, covering 48 states and approximately half a million miles through the BMW National Club. Along the way, he has seen such memorable sites as Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon and Colorado’s Million Dollar Highway. Alaska and Europe remain on his bucket list. Corporation’s Valley Forge office, where he managed complex contractual agreements. During his tenure, he was elected president of the National Contract Management Association chapters in Ohio and Arizona. Mr. Cantrill is also a veteran, having been drafted in 1969 to serve in the Vietnam War. He was a team leader in fire direction control in Army artillery, calculating firing solutions for a howitzer battery. He considers the responsibility he bore to be a meaningful achievement and a source of great pride. Mr. Cantrill’s service was recently recognized through an opportunity to participate in the Honor Flight program, a nonprofit program that flies veterans to Washington, DC, to visit monuments and explore the city. The organization covers all expenses for the threeday trip and is open to all military veterans. Early in his professional life, Mr. Cantrill spent 10 years as an instructor at the University of Phoenix, where he earned a master’s degree in organizational management with a focus on business in 1991.
