That was in 2018, and he has been the owner and director of operations at Precisions Ag Construction ever since. Mr. Nordhues’ expertise lies in the design and construction of infrastructure for whole-grain storage and processing. Managing a team of 45 employees, he is responsible for strategic planning, project management, customer relations and the preparation of detailed proposals. The company manages large-scale installations and facility improvements throughout the Midwest. While founding Precision Ag Construction took considerable perseverance, the business is now a respected provider of agricultural and industrial construction services that has earned significant customer trust. It has gained a reputation for quality workmanship, safety and reliability. Mr. Nordhues held previous leadership roles in the agricultural construction industry, directing operational strategy, overseeing specialty millwright services and leading complex construction initiatives. The agricultural construction practices and large-scale operational management skills he learned in these positions are the foundations of his company. He considers the long-standing relationships and trust he has established with customers a defining measure of his work. A hallmark of Mr. Nordhues’ career is his care for others – those who work for him and the customers he serves. He is proud that his company sees very little employee turnover. Additionally, his company is instilled with the value of treating customers’ facilities as they would their own homes. Precision Ag Construction is entering a new phase as Mr. Nordhues anticipates significant growth in the ethanol sector. He believes ethanol will be positioned as one of the industry's strongest and fastest-growing segments. To keep up with the expected demand, he has hired an ethanol division manager and is building the necessary infrastructure for his company’s expansion. His wife was instrumental to its founding and serves as office manager, and he intends to pass the business on to their son.
