That changed when a friend called with a job offer, launching Mr. Molin’s career in the gravel industry. He has been dedicated to this work ever since, crushing gravel for nearly 35 years before establishing EGT Certified Gravel Testing in 2016. Mr. Molin’s turn as a business owner came after being laid off by his previous employer. He offered to purchase their gravel testing equipment and began with just one customer. Today, he analyzes gravel for five or six regular customers, testing to ensure the material meets the required specifications for construction projects, such as concrete production. Over the years, Mr. Molin has built countless positive relationships with colleagues, lasting friendships that he considers his greatest accomplishment. He mentors younger workers and encourages them to seek guidance from others, collaborate with their peers and embrace teamwork. Additionally, Mr. Molin has practiced Taekwondo alongside his youngest daughter for a decade, demonstrating his commitment to lifelong learning. He is now a third-degree black belt and has received an acknowledgment award (black belt) from Korea. For 20 years, Tyler Roundtree served his country as a senior operations manager in the U.S. Army. Leading the team of primary instructors for hand-to-hand combat training, the combative course that he developed attracted participants nationwide and earned recognition from the All-Army Combatives Committee Board. Mr. Roundtree is skilled at developing those around him. While in the military, he learned to observe his surroundings, identify problems and analyze bottlenecks, honing his ability to create functional processes. As a civilian, he now uses these skills as a superintendent for Silver Mountain Construction LLC, overseeing complex construction projects and leading teams to deliver high-quality results. Since childhood, Mr. Rountree has focused on understanding mechanics at a basic level, which he now combines with practical experience and military training in planning, leadership and scheduling. Today, he uses his expertise in designing and implementing effective processes to guide personnel toward achieving project goals. Drawing inspiration from his father and grandfather, Mr. Roundtree emphasizes the importance of family and remembering their roots. He also believes it is crucial to maintain a sense of playfulness and openness to better enjoy all life has to offer. TYLER ROUNDTREE
