Inspired by an infomercial about flipping houses and a desire to work independently, they jumped into the venture, quickly raising capital and finding deals. Their business grew fast over two years, but ultimately failed due to their inexperience. Rather than feeling discouraged, Mr. Siuda sought his next opportunity and launched a successful entrepreneurial career. He has held roles with ROCK Development and Penny Investments LLC, and he owns a daycare in Boston. Since 2021, he has been the managing partner of Treadstone Construction, which renovates and builds luxury and custom homes. Mr. Siuda is also the co-founder of Avenue Capital Partners, where he specializes in raising capital, acquiring properties and sourcing leads. With more than 50 projects completed or active, the firm’s developments deliver strong returns and lasting impact in their communities. Mr. Siuda’s achievements lie in his ability to maintain strong relationships, which have been essential to his growth. Above all, though, he values the balance he has found between running his businesses and being an active father. When Carol Royse’s husband passed away unexpectedly at the age of 42 in 1985, she was left with two children and no income. A friend encouraged her to pursue a real estate license, which she notably received in approximately one month. Forty years later, she is a trusted real estate professional and the chief executive officer of the Carol Royse Team in Tempe, Arizona. Though her success was born out of tragedy, Ms. Royse has thrived. She opened a Your Home Sold Guaranteed Realty branch in 2023 and estimates that she has helped approximately 8,600 families buy and/ or sell homes.
