However, John Lantz has sought a more collaborative approach, working with clients in real time during the design process. He considers the confidence he has gained while engaging and communicating with customers to be one of his most meaningful accomplishments. Mr. Lantz is an award-winning senior web designer and user experience (UX) advisor at the design firm Curran & Connors. In this role, he develops information architecture and visual designs for digital products. He also researches and strategizes during the information architecture and interaction design phases to optimize UX. Participating in user testing and collaborating with the creative department are other critical responsibilities to ensure he delivers high-quality work. Additionally, in 2011, Mr. Lantz established JBL Graphics LLC, a freelance design firm. Prior to this, he was a web designer at MAXBURST and an intern in the design department at Briarcliffe College, where he received his bachelor’s degree. Mr. Lantz has supported his community by building houses for Habitat for Humanity of Long Island and donating clothing and books to those in need. With a multidisciplinary background, Dr. Susan Brandt Graham is an award-winning photographer with deep roots in medicine and anthropology. She currently owns Susan Brandt Graham Photography, where she focuses on preserving the beauty of flowers, women and interpersonal relationships. Her work on color perception is inspired by her father and her son, both of whom cannot see the color red. By removing red hues from her images, Dr. Graham promotes inclusivity in the arts and understands how colorblind populations perceive their environment. Many of Dr. Graham’s works, including “Persephone’s Choice: Every Woman’s Dilemma” and “Seeing Color Colorblind,” have been selected for juried shows and solo and group exhibitions. For her success, she earned numerous accolades, including the Bronze Medal and People’s Choice Award at PX3 for “Lily” in 2012. Dr. Graham owned a specialized obstetrics-gynecology practice and was an assistant professor of anthropology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She also served as a ranger and naturalist for the National Park Service at Grand Canyon National Park. She holds a PhD in social anthropology from the University of Arizona and an MD from the University of Kansas Medical Center.
