Justice Design Morgan Hill, CA CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER Corporate Capture Phoenix, AZ ALLEEN CROOKS Alleen Crooks developed an affinity for sewing at a formative age, guided by encouragement from her mother and aunt. Drawing on an AS in fashion design from West Valley College, which she earned in 2005, Ms. Crooks is now recognized as the owner of Make It Mine by A. Justice Design, where, since 2014, she has overseen all business operations while designing and producing letterman jackets for a diverse range of customers. Accruing expertise in graphic design and laser engraving, she also grows her business by integrating new design technologies. Despite its challenges, Ms. Crooks’ business excelled during the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating her ability to adapt and evolve in strenuous circumstances. Earlier in her career, she served as a seamstress for San Mateo County, California, and as a sewer at Canvasworks and Fritzis, where she began and honed her craft. She attributes much of her success to her persistence and transparency during every stage of the design process. Looking ahead, Ms. Crooks intends to partner with local schools to design custom jackets for students. She also aims to acquire additional equipment to provide opportunities for staff advancement.
